Meet The Founder
Hi there!
I’m Alita Fulford
Born and raised in Washington, D.C., I’m a proud graduate of Virginia State University—Go Trojans! After years of serving as an elementary school teacher, I felt God calling me into a new season — one rooted in purpose, healing, and faith.
Outside the classroom, I serve in my church as the Youth and Young Adult Choir Director, Sunday School Teacher, and Youth Leader. My faith is my foundation, and serving through music and ministry fills my heart with joy.
For as long as I can remember, writing has been my outlet — a sacred space where I could process my thoughts, prayers, and life experiences. During one of the most difficult seasons of my life, God called me to be intentional with my journaling.
As I poured my heart onto the pages — my pain, doubts, and hopes — God met me there. He reminded me that I wasn’t being buried; I was being planted. That my pain had purpose. That He was preserving me, not overlooking me.
That revelation became the seed for Hidden Treasures.
Our Purpose is Simple.
Hidden Treasures is a space to help your faith come ALIVE!

Together, with God’s help,
we will heal, evolve, and rise.
My hope is that every journal you open becomes more than paper — it becomes a meeting place between you and God. A space to breathe, reflect, and grow.
