Hey Friend!

My name is Alita, and I am the founder of The Hidden Treasures Blog! I am so elated to finally be able to welcome you all to this space! This process has definitely been a great testament of my faith, but HERE WE ARE!!!

First, I want to go ahead and lay a few things out on the table. In no way, shape, or form do I plan on trying to tell you right from wrong, or tell you what you should or should not be doing in your life. My only prayer is that you're able to realize, through my blogs, that you are not alone in the things you face, and that they motivate you to turn to God for clarity in your own situations.

Hidden Treasures Blog will be a platform used to provide my outlook on the different experiences I encounter as a millennial on my spiritual journey. I truthfully feel that God has called me to be as real and transparent as I can be with you guys when creating my blog entries. There's really no sugarcoating the fact that living in this day and time and maintaining a relationship with God can get super challenging. It's almost like there is always something you have to do, somewhere you have to go, a deadline that needs to be met, the cycle can often appear to never end. While life can make us feel like maintaining a healthy relationship with God is hard, it is also still super important that we make time for our Father. It's definitely a labor of love that is completely worth all the work you have to put in!

What Can You Expect Here?

There are so many things you guys have to look forward to. Much of my content comes from testimonies, self- reflections, experiences, revelations, random thoughts, I mean the list could go on and on. I guess in short, I can describe my content as LIFE! Things I've done right, things I've done wrong, heartbreak, prayer, love, ministry, friendships, God, trauma, you name it, I can guarantee at some point or another I will write about it.

I feel like oftentimes we like to put what we believe is the best version of ourselves out on a platform for the world to see. And don't get me wrong, there's no issue with that, if that is your form of expression. You will still have people who are intrigued by you, who become inspired, and who will aspire to follow in your footsteps, however, do they really know what it took for you to get there? Do they know the amount of nights you were up with anxiety, or crying, or the countless times you almost lost your faith in God, or the many days you wanted to just give up? With my blog, I want to share all of those sides that come with the journey of fulfilling God's purpose for your life. I want to open up about these challenges and actually talk about them because 9 times out of 10, I know somebody out there can and will relate.

I'm sure by now you can already tell that this is a faith based blog! I take joy in knowing that I have a firm foundation in God. That no matter what I encounter on this journey, the highs and lows it will bring, the doors it will open and the doors it will shut, or the testing my faith may endure, that God is in full control of Hidden Treasures. I have faith that He will use me as a vessel to not only draw me nearer, but to also draw this generation closer to Him.
