STOP EXPLAINING!!!

If God called you to it, you don't owe ANYBODY an explanation! Free yourself from the opinions of this world, and soar over the territory God has called you to conquer!

YOU HAVE PURPOSE

I'm going to start this blog off by saying, YOU HAVE PURPOSE! Each and every one of us has been given a divine assignment that we must complete before we depart from this world! Everyday you wake up, you are given another chance to pursue the purpose God has for you.

Something I have learned over time is that purpose comes in manyyy forms. A lot of times we equate purpose to something grand, and important, and just this huge show stopping ability that the world just has to see! And although this can be true in some cases, purpose, is much larger than all of these things.

The definition of the word purpose, is "the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists." In short, you were created for a reason! Whether it be to break generational curses in your family lineage, start a business, encourage people, help people, bring your family to Christ, or have the ability to turn someone's day around just with your presence, regardless of what it is, there is a great why behind your existence!

If you are someone like me and you struggled for a long time to find your purpose, or maybe you still don't know your purpose, I encourage you to take a moment to open up your heart and invite God into that area. Don't be afraid to ask Him, what it is He wants from you in this season. What are you supposed to be doing? Have you allowed Him to position you in a place where you are ready to receive your purpose? Are you rushing your process to your purpose? Has he given you your purpose, but it wasn't what you thought it should be, so you've neglected it? These are all things God is waiting to hear from you. I wasn't able to understand the things God has called me to, until I was able to be honest and transparent in our conversations. And that transparency involved questions like these.

When you get to that space, I promise you in most cases your purpose has been right in front of you all along. When we are able to truly open up to God, He has this amazing ability to open your eyes and change your perspectives on so many things directly around you. That thing you labeled as trash will all of a sudden have this certain glow that draws you to pick it up, brush it off, and explore the many ways it can be refurbished! And when you are done, hold on to it tight.

Purpose vs. People

When God has granted you with your purpose, one thing I've learned on this journey is that as long as it is from Him, it is not for anyone to understand. The Bible tells us, that "Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, NEITHER HAS IT EVEN ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN, all that God has in store for us." It's okay if your purpose is too big for your friends to understand, or your family, or maybe even your spouse. If you are moving in the things of God, the truth is in most cases it's going to come with it's own set of jealousy, hate, doubters, and people who just don't have faith in the work God is doing through you. Being a believer does not mean you are exempt from trials and tribulations in life.

You must stay focused on the things God has called you to in order to see the promise He has given you in your purpose for being on this Earth. People make it easy for you to feel like the vision is too big, or you don't deserve to be where God has called you to be. They may even try to make it seem like there is something you are doing in your own strength to obtain the favor God has placed over your purpose, however, continue to press towards the higher mark. You have to ask God to awaken His strength inside your mind, heart, and soul to withstand the crowds and continue to follow the blueprint He has given you specifically.

On the journey, as you continue to walk in your purpose and the people who doubt you rise before you, one thing I've learned is that you don't rebuke them. Society today tells us, to "cut them off," or "distance yourself." I want to challenge you to handle it in a way that would represent your belief in God better. I want to challenge you to pray for them. And not a phony, quick, "I'm doing this because it's right, not because I want to prayer." I want you to go to God and ask Him to restore their hearts. Ask Him to open their eyes to see that they have their own purpose as well. Ask God to remove the hate or jealousy from their hearts. Ask God to bless them with pleasant thoughts and peace. And end by asking God to restore your mind and emotions in regards to the person, so that you are able to forgive them for their actions, even if they don't know they should be sorry. After you've done this, allow God to take His place and do the rest.

Application- SOAR!!!

Once you have discovered your purpose on the Earth, it is your time to live freely in the things God has gifted you. Be grateful for the territory He has called you to conquer, invest in it, pray over it, rule in it! Be humble and move with humility, but don't allow people to make you feel as if you don't deserve to experience the joy that comes with walking in what God has created you to do. Be transparent enough to testify on your highs and your lows because this will encourage people to strengthen their faith in God on behalf of their own callings. Move in love, even when they rebuke you. But above all things, keep yourself planted in God. Go to Him for every decision, every unclear thought, vision, dream, or message. His word is all that matters. You don't have to keep explaining yourself to people, you don't have to water yourself down, you don't have hide your joy, all you are required to do is continue to chase after God's heart, and seek Him in all that you do. Go out and SOAR friends!

Prayer

Dear God we thank you today for being a God who gives each of us purpose. We ask that you continue to guide us as we navigate through and to our purposes. We pray that we always align ourselves with you in whatever we pursue in this life. We thank you for the people who may not believe in the plans you have for us. We ask that you bless them abundantly and that you restore the joy of you in their hearts. We bind up any negative forces that may try and attack us on our journeys through and to our purposes. We ask that you continue to expand our territory, dear God. We open our hearts today and make room for you to step in and direct our paths. Thank you for covering and keeping each and every one of us. Bless us, oh God, as we continue to HEAL, EVOLVE, and RISE together! AMEN!
